Recently in the Sacramento Bee there was mention of the California Insurance Commissioner’s foray into “reforming” auto insurance in California. There’s also mention of what he has done to disability insurance: Here’s an excerpt from the Sacramento Bee of January 22, 2006: “Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi’s attempt to reform the auto insurance industry is going to have the same effect as his bungled forays into disability insurance and health insurance - higher rates, less coverage and an exodus of carriers from the state. . . .” There are disability insurance companies that have a high quality way of constructing their policies and taking care of their policyholders.
